Tokenize Amazon

Deforestation in the Amazon is a reality. In addition to the risk that it represents for the ecosystem of the region, the indigenous people who live there are seriously affected. Tokenize Amazon emerges under this premise, a project that innovatively aims to counteract the practice of deforestation in the Amazon rainforest.

How it works?

A token has been created that will represent one square meter of land in the jungle. For every token you buy, one square meter of real Amazon rainforest land will be saved from deforestation. With this initiative we want to help the tribes of the area and their small farmers. They want to fight illegal logging and mining on their land by providing tools and resources to assert their property.

Likewise, as part of the project, the Tokenize Amazon team wants to provide technical support to small producers in the area to create a chain of relationships that facilitates exports and allows the settlement of small farmers who protect the jungle.

It is important to note that the project is in line with the REDD+ program, which is a collaborative program of the United Nations for the reduction of emissions from deforestation and forest degradation.
