Digital platforms to respond to violence against women in Honduras and El Salvador


Online specialized care services with security and confidentiality. In Honduras, this initiative was implemented in conjunction with the National Institute for Women (INAM) and the Ciudad Mujer de Honduras Program. It was launched on November 25, 2020. CONECTA's remote services operate alongside face-to-face services to offer different options to users.

In Honduras, women were attended in almost two months (from December 7, 2020 to January 31, 2021) on the CONECTA platform in Honduras

  • 152 in orientation.
  • 128 in specialized services (psychosocial care and legal assistance and social work).

A pilot of this platform will be conducted in El Salvador with the Salvadoran Institute for the Development of Women (ISDEMU) under the name 126 Te Orienta through its comprehensive care program for a life free of violence and its windows in Ciudad Mujer.
