At the IDB Labor Markets Division, we promote the digital transformation of jobs in Latin America and the Caribbean. We provide alternatives to mitigate some of the most pressing problems in the region's labor markets, including low productivity, high informality, and low inclusion. In particular, we promote improvements in access to information for both companies and workers, improvements in public policy decision-making, greater efficiency in the provision of essential services related to labor market institutions, and greater adaptability and resilience to economic, technological and demographic changes.
