Public employment services (PES) offer tools through different channels to both employers and job seekers. The multiplicity of services and channels, paired with processes that are sometimes inadequately mapped, creates challenges when implementing digital systems. This document discusses how using enterprise architecture can provide a framework for defining and representing a high-level view of the organizations processes and its information technology (IT) systems, as well as their relationship with different parts of the organization and external entities.

This technical note encompasses Haiti's gender assessment, evaluates the success of gender specific actions implemented between 2011-2017, and presents a Gender and Transport Action Plan (GAP). The GAPs main aim is to guide investments in Haiti's transport sector in conceptualizing and designing gender-sensitive transport projects. By proposing specific gender actions and outcomes, the GAP establishes a clear path to integrate a gender dimension into operations design, implementation and, monitoring and evaluation.

A SIGED should allow a complete and efficient management of the relevant processes at all the levels of the education system, incorporating new technologies (Arias Ortiz et al., 2019).

Social, political, and economic instability in Venezuela has led to a shift in the regions migration patterns in recent years, with millions of Venezuelans migrating to find better job opportunities or to better provide for the families they leave behind. In this context, remittances play a key role as part of the available income of households that receive them. This study analyzes how these monetary flows, in the context of a migratory crisis, become a livelihood strategy for coping with the food insecurity that Venezuelan households face.
