CORE-CO Guide

As a background of health interoperability in Colombia, the Ministry of Health issued Resolution 866 of 2021, which regulates the minimum set of relevant data for the interoperability of the Clinical History in the country; and in turn, Law 2015 of 2020, provides that the Ministry of Health and Social Protection will adopt an implementation plan for the Interoperability of the Electronic Health Record (IHCE) for the exchange of relevant clinical data; Thus, the purpose of this Implementation Guide is to develop the technical specification, taking as a reference the common exchange language that the Ministry of Information Technology and Communications has recommended for the interoperability of medical records in Colombia.
