What are the champion's specialties or areas of expertise?

Rosa is Director of Health Information Analysis at the Ministry of Health Paraguay. She works on management of computer systems in health, implementation of health information systems. She is a leader of Digital Health projects.

Why is the champion passionate about digital health (how did the champion become interested in digital health)?

Rosa is passionate about digital health because she has lived the experience of how technologies are able to collaborate to improve people's health and medical events. In addition, she is also convinced that ICTs are one of the strategies for the development of the countries.

How can we attract more women to work on digital health?

Rosa says it is important for women to see how much they could collaborate to the world of digital health.

What are the champion's achievements in digital health?

Roxanne has been working with the design and procurement of a Health Information System. She has conducted capacity building exercises for Health Records Personnel, facilitated training on needs assessments and data dictionary development. In addition, she worked on conducting health metrics network assessment, drafting of Health Information Policy, and working with Stakeholders in the Review of draft health information policy.

What are the champion's specialties or areas of expertise?

Roxanne has worked in public health and development programs for over 13 years. During that time, she has worked in the development of Health Information Systems, monitoring and evaluation and as apart of her Health Care management career.

Why is the champion passionate about digital health (how did the champion become interested in digital health)?

Roxanne is passionate about people and helping them live better lives. She is excited about how the use of information can improve patient care especially across the continuum of care. And how limited resources can be better utilized in environments where evidence is readily available.

How can we attract more women to work on digital health?

Roxanne says it is important to provide women with opportunities for awareness and training.

What are the champion's specialties or areas of expertise?

Sabrina is specialized in digital health and change processes, digital transformation for healthcare professionals. She has led scientific and technological developments projects related to telemedicine and digital health for 7 years, and she is a leading woman in science in Chile. She has become one of the most respected voices in digital health in Chile and Latin America as a whole. Currently, she is an associate professor at the University of Chile, and leads her eHealthcare company that works on fights against COVID-19. She is also an international advisor and speakers of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Women and Work in Scholarships for Digital Studies, Catholic University of Antofagasta, Bernardo Ohiggins University and Universidad Mayor. In addition, she maintains a strong social commitment to equalize the education gap in Chile.

Why is the champion passionate about digital health (how did the champion become interested in digital health)?

Sabrina is passionate about digital health because she believes that digital health can promote equity and accessibility of healthcare. She understands that new technologies are increasingly present in our day-to-day life, both in the personal and professional worlds. This makes patients to demand more and ask more questions to health professionals. Thus, she believes that health professionals must adapt to these changes With this belief, she is constantly creating new health tools to integrate the use of new technologies into the healthcare system to reach the largest number of patients quickly, easily, productively, while promoting equity.

How can we attract more women to work on digital health?

Sabrina emphasizes that in order to attract more women to work in digital health, we need to focus on education, and giving equal opportunity for acquisition of knowledge for men and women.
