eTAB: Integrated Indicator Management & Business Intelligence Tool
Description
The eTAB is a business intelligence tool created by Mesoamerican countries with the support of the Salud Mesoamérica Initiative (SMI) and is currently implemented in five countries. eTAB allows countries to easily see and share data to monitor performance from their routine health information systems from national averages, to individual health center performance. This tool is important to national and local actors in the health system, as it provides access to information for decision making. It is also important to international organizations, as countries can use this system to report on program progress without additional effort, as the system exports information graphically, in XLM or in CSV, for easy sharing and reporting.
